I've saw him a couple times. Not a great show, but interesting for sure.

Last time he started the show with a Waylon medley. He played about 10 Waylon songs in 5 minutes. He'd sing a verse and the chorus and go to the next song. The band had a tough time keeping up with what he was doing. He played some Pantera, rapped a bit, and then played some hippie music with his Janis Joplin-looking wife dancing around the stage with a tambourine looking like she was on hallucinogens.

I enjoyed it, but don't go expecting to hear all his hits.

Shouldn't this be in the OB?

It was a shitshow, but entertaining. I think it was a Kid Rock song or something.

I feel like I've read this exact post before, have you posted something similar to this awhile ago?

Was that the show in Hammond the day after Waylon died? I was there too. I've seen DAC about 20 times. Believe me, I know what to expect.

I go see him everytime he comes anywhere near south La because everytime I see him, I think it will be the last time.

Just a little warning. Be prepared for them to turn the A/C off. David Allen Coe will not play when the air is on. I thought he put on a good show even though it was hot as balls. Wish more people still played music like he does.

Probably so, or it could've been someone else that went to the same show.
