Pretty sure there are a few Crowbar baws kicking around on this board. I appreciate this band more and more as time goes on. fricking riffs just melt your face off along with Kirk's vocals. I do really like the current lineup. Matt Brunson is the fricking man as well. Always go back to this song as probably my favorite.

We hung with them in Lafayette awhile back before a show. Laid back as frick. Have a pic of my wife and him. She said his beard smelled like whiskey, cigs and dirt....LOLOL!!

First time I saw them was on the Odd Fellows Rest tour when Jimmy Bower and Sammy Duet were in the band. That was a hell of a lineup.

Love Crowbar. I saw them in the 90s at Zeppelin's in Fat City.
They were so loud, I though my eardrums would rupture, and my head would explode. I had to stuff napkins in my ears.

He’s so damn cool. One of the more approachable people when out on the road, both before and after the show. I’ve talked to him a number of times here in Jacksonville and then another time in Atlanta. Two years ago I was in Minneapolis for work when they played there. When I approached him and refreshed him he was like “Damn what the frick you doing way up here?”
Would’ve spoken to him again in Ann Arbor a couple of months ago but my work assignment ended just a few days before that show.
His wife had told me a few years back that Kirk is a Tulane fan. I always have my LSU hat on and that tends to spur their memories a bit. When I saw him in Minneapolis he said “Well my daughter’s at LSU now so I gotta pull for the Tigahs”
Brunson was super cool as well. That show was the first time I spoke with him. It was after they finished and he was packing up his gear. He also made note of my hat and was very interested in talking Tiger football and how I thought Brian Kelly would do.
Tommy Buckley had me a little concerned before the show. He was one the last one onstage with a hoodie on pulled way down over his face. I’m not making any insinuations at all. It could very well have been a nasty cold or even the flu or something but he did not look well. He shook it off though and kicked arse. In fact I shot a short video isolated on him.
Then, as soon as they were finished, he was up and gone like a fart in the wind.
But yeah, love Crowbar. Love their sound and the face-melting riffs as OP said, and every time I’ve talked to Kirk and now Matt they’ve been extremely cool and laid-back.
Awesome band.
