From about 2001-2007, Tigerland bars had a phenomenal run of Red Dirt Country rolling in on a regular basis:
Wow what a time to be a Tiger! When I was there we couldn’t get shite besides parish county line , random EDM and afroman It was bad. I hate people my age. Their music taste sucks so bad.

I 2nd the claim of the 00s era. I feel terrible for the kids since who went thru that crap "music". PCL is a decent enough band for a party/Saturday night tho.
Can't leave out the solid cover bands like Lazy K, Mixed Nuts, the Chee Weez (original members), Bag of Donuts, etc. The live entertainment options during that time span was likely the best since the 70s & 80s.

I've seen CCR more than any other band
It seemed like they were at Rabb's in Ruston every other weekend when I was in college
obviously Boys From Oklahoma is their greatest sing along song, probably followed by Carney Man
my favorite song will always be Alabama though

SS#10 or Fighting For are probably my two favorites. So many good ones.
Never got to see them in concert

42 Miles, Look At Me, and Mexican Sky. Also, I enjoy their version of Reckless Kelly's Crazy Eddie's Last Hurrah

Tie between "Carney Man" and "Alabama"
No idea whether they get back together.

Ragweed, Creager (2-3x/year), Wade Bowen, Cory Morrow, Pat Green, REK, etc.
So you were one of the other 10 people there?
Great times! I saw all of them 5-10 times, along with Randy Rogers and Reckless Kelly.

I’ll add a few that haven’t been mentioned:
Long Way Home
Jonny’s Song
If I were President
They also do a nice cover of REK’s Lonely Feeling on one of their live albums
ETA: Hammer Down
