My mother in law as talking about the last concert she went to pre 1984. She didn’t have a bunch of details on the show, but I’d like to find her some sort of memorabilia. Problem is I don’t know the concert/festival. The only things she could remember or willing to tell me were :

1. Pre 1984
2. Rush and Journey were there (may not be 100% accurate)
3. It was in New Orleans
4. Rainy muddy mess
5. Bunch of different bands playing so possibly a festival

Any help would be greatly appreciated

weather almanac says it did not rain on said date. No telling as it could be pouring down at the Lakefront airport, and not a drop near City Park. I attended the '82 and '83 SuperStar shows at CP and remember it was ALWAYS hot as balls !

Could it have been this show ? 7/31/76 Bayou Boogie Fest.
