I don't dislike Coldplay, but meh.
I was expecting something more.

Not a fan of them either, but they seem like they could put on a good light show or something intriguing.

Justin Timberlake is who would kill it more than anyone else.
Too bad we will likely never see it because of the Janet Jackson boob

Timberlake would've killed it. But I thought I read a couple months ago Swift was doing it? Man this is boring AF

Prince killed it b/c he's Prince and appeals to just about everybody. I really liked Bruno Mars show too even with the chili peppers doing their best to kill it.

God Damn it. The biggest sport in America, invented in America, only really super popular in America, and you get the most boring euro trash mush mouth band you can find to play the 50th anniversary of your biggest game of the year?
frick it, get Katy Perry or Rihanna up there. Hoping one of them pops a tit out while lip synching is way more entertaining than fricking Cold Play.

Guarantee you rihanna will have a significant role in coldplays performance at SB50. Wouldn't be shocked to see Jay z and/or Beyoncé either

Yes you idiot, but the point is that if you are going to get a shitty act for the 50th superbowl, at least make it somewhat entertaining by putting some eye candy out there in hopes of a wardrobe malfunction. I'm amazed I had to type that out.

If the network was smart, they would book JT BECAUSE of the boob stunt. Guaranteed ratings.

this thread is so fricking dumb - they are going to play clocks and viva la Vida which were both Grammy winners for song of the year. Then they'll throw in a collaboration with Rihanna and Jay z.
Wtf do you want? They'll play 4 fricking songs, two of which will feature hip and edgier performers and two of which were undisputed songs of the year in 2004 and 2008.
theyll do the coordinated lighted wristbands on 80000 people which will look cool as shite on TV. Chris Martin will say something quirky and charmingly endearing.
Everybody needs to stfu
