Cody Jinks at the Saenger 12/11

I have 2 tickets, but my husband will be at work and can’t go. The Ticketmaster app won’t let me sell or transfer them, so I’m thinking about taking our 9 year old son. Is that bad parenting? I’m not a huge Cody Jinks fan anyway, I really just wanted to see Randy Rogers and Flatland Cavalry. If we did go, we would leave before the headliner.
We’ve been taking our son to Jazz Fest and other outdoor music festivals since he was 2. This would be his first time at a night time indoor show though. I haven’t been to the Saenger for a concert since I saw the Allman Brothers in 2004ish. Is there still a shite ton of weed that gets smoked during all concerts? If so, it’s probably best that I don’t take him. Just trying to get a read on what concerts there are like these days.

There’s no smoking indoors, so not a shite ton of weed at indoor concerts. The outdoor festivals you go to though…

Try logging into your Ticketmaster account on a PC. It may give you options the app does not include. I was just looking at some of my tickets for a game that I may need to sell/give away, and the options were there.

Yep. At the Allman Brothers you could barely see the stage through the smoke. But that was in the early 2000s.

I saw Cody last time he was at the Saenger, i don't recall smelling weed for that show. I don't see a problem with bringing your son, Saenger is a pretty chill venue the way the seating is setup, you won't have to worry about being sandwiched in a crowd of people or anything.
