Kinda lackluster lineup, especially the headliners, compared to prior years. I guess every music festival eventually jumps the shark.

Why do people still act all disappointed when the headliners suck? Happens with 90-95% of all music festivals.

yep, the tix are not cheap in the least.

And those are advanced ticket prices.

It's worth it though. I've been two times and had amazing experiences. Two years ago there was a legit sandstorm- 40 mph winds while watching Pretty Lights and Disclosure. Very interesting. And the guest acts that pop up on stage with bands is unreal. Good times

Todd terje with his band is the one and only reason I would make that trip. Good lineup but I can catch all of those acts at other places

Friday is laughably bad
funny you say that, I think it's the second best day after Saturday

Steely Dan
Tod Terje
Caribou
Flying Lotus

Sunday is garbage. Outside of Mac Demarco and Panda Bear.

Yeah, the more I actually thought about it, Friday is solid.

Do you even St. Vincent, Built to Spill, Jenny Lewis, St. Lucia and Charles Bradley?

St Vincent is cool

Built to Spill was good. 15-20 years ago.

this festival actually has a big variety of bands. hell, even sturgill simpson is playing.

I know people are dumping on this fest, but I think it's mainly due to there being no jam bands, which isn't what coachella has ever been about.

To be fair, it really isn't all that great of a lineup. Some good highlights, but very inconsistent. Sure as shite not worth the price of the ticket nor the money it would to take get there.

I'm not disappointed as I had no intentions of going. I guess I just expected better given past lineups, but then I remember Red Hot Chili Peppers headlined a couple of years ago so I guess I had unfair expectations.

...I know. I'm also not saying they were only cool when we were 6 or 7 years old and didn't know they existed.

not directed at you, just stuff i'm seeing on social media.

there's always this dismissive attitude towards festival lineups from certain demographics. some people will just never be satisfied i guess.
