That's my favorite. I don't know many other classical songs like it, but if y'all have ever heard Immediate Music (they make the songs for trailers and stuff) it's really awesome.

I wouldn't say it's technically classical, they mix in some electronic things....

you are absolutely right. The 1812 Overture cannot be topped. I've listen to it several times in the past few days. The build up is incredible. Great piece.

In the same vein, I also like Mussorgsky's Great Gate of Kiev, though not quite as much.

ETA: cant find a link that does it justice

Also Mozart's Requiem is incredible...every movement of it.

Double edit: I see that both have been mentioned. Great work! I'm definitely building my library with some of this stuff!
