There are a few brief notes where he sounds so close to Roy Orbison, it's really cool.

Man that sounds amazing. Great bands make it easier for sound engineers to get that sweet mix and, in addition to being a fantastic singer, Chris has a great band.
Speaking of, I thought Don Johnson was playing bass for the first few seconds of the video.

Never was a CI fan, heard his stuff on radio and it was ok, just wasnt my thing.
Was seeing a woman that was a big CI fan (he has lots of those) so I had to go to a show.
Probably the best show I've ever been to, the volume was perfect, his voice was perfect, the band was perfect etc etc. I was stunned at how tight the band was and it was a much heavier sound than I expected. They played for more than 2 hours and seemed to really enjoy putting out good music.
CI fan now.

He's always sounded great. I was cracking up at the dog in that video. No one was bothered by it running around at all. Just pros.
