Yes Greune Hall. Was a good time about 6 years ago.

I've seen him a shite load of times. He's put on an outstanding show every single time. But I haven't seen him in probably 7-8 years. I bet you get your money's worth though. His brother Bruce is great live too

His shows are great, you just go and chill and listen to good music. He comes to George's on Dickson Street a few times a year and i never miss it.

I used to work at the Varsity back in the day and saw Charlie a bunch. He is a hoss Texan, that's for sure, and played college football iirc. He used to be married to the hot Dixie Chick, not sure if they still are. Anyshit, doing the load-ins/outs for his band was cool, they were always down for a shot of whiskey and a toke. Good old days there. Indianola and Lights of Loving County are some great driving songs.

ehhh....20 years ago. He was decent. I was listening to his album "Life of the Party" a lot back then.

Charlie has drank himself silly over the past two decades.

Not down with the Union army, rest of the song is cool though

Yea if you look up the studio version on YouTube, someone actually took the time to lay out the Texas historical significance that Charlie had written about in the song. It's pretty in depth for a tube comment.

Yup I seen it before. I feel like I've read the comments on pretty much all of his songs.
3 weeks until I get to see him live, can't wait.

I really like Charlie, these songs are a little older, but the guy rocks it with some twang...
