He doesn’t fricking miss.

“Lead the way” and “Hard luck and circumstances” are elite

We are lucky to be here as it happens. He is a legend.

Son’s going to see him in Nashville. Just announced that he will be in Shreveport August 31! We are all gonna go. Can’t wait.

Definitely puts on a good live show. Saw him open for Tyler Childers last year, and he was great.

Really digging the new album as well.

For those that haven't heard his earlier stuff, I still think The Valley is his best album.

And he's put out several cover albums under the moniker Lil G.L. All good suff.

He does great covers. Listen to his cover of “Midnight Run” by James Hand

He will be in TD stomping grounds this summer:

Aug 30th | Fillmore New Orleans
Aug 31st | Shreveport Municipal Auditorium
Sep 3rd | 713 Music Hall - Houston

I've seen him twice, and have tickets for two more shows this summer. It's like stepping back in time to the 50's or 60's to see Hank Snow at the Louisiana Hayride. But mid-set he breaks out some gritty soulful blues. Then something resembling southern rock, then a Marty Robbins type ballad, then a honky tonk crowd pleaser, then... I am suggesting you go see him, it will restore your faith in country music. At least when he is playing it.

The valley is great. But for me “In the night” is his best.

This new album is growing on my fast. Lead the Way is still incredible. Midnight Cowboy, The Spade, and Hard Luck are also fricking jams.
