That they have not gone for the cash grab with a tour makes me irritated and respect them at the same time.

I saw it at the Mall of LA Rave for that one-shot at the theaters.

But....

He drank himself to death. Nobody's Fault But his. (YSWIDT?) Having a different drummer is not as bad as the vocalist being dead. And I LOVE drums and drummers. The Who still called themselves The Who. I don't know if they still do or tour since the bass player died.

They need to get there arse out there and tour. Just a smallish one. They will regret it if they never do. They can name their venue. They could try arenas (Plants voice would suffer) or do smaller settings like theaters and smallish halls. I can't imagine what the ticket price would be but it would be awesome.

I couldn't wait that long so I streamed it from iTunes and in my opinion they still got it. Yes, they look old except for John Paul and of course Jason Bonham but musically it sounds very similar to the "Song Remains the Same "

I saw The Who on their supposed "Farewell Tour" in 1982 in San Diego. I really believed that BS back then. I thought it was going to be my last chance to ever see them. Now I don't believe any band when they say they're breaking up or calling it quits. As long as there is money out there, they will keep crankin' it out. Props to Led Zeppelin for resisting that temptation.
