Got a case today. What do you guys do for your guitars? This is not some 3000 dollar Taylor but I want it to last and look decent.

Just dust it occasionally with a soft rag.
There is a wood cleaning spray that they sell at most music stores that makes it shine a little.
Other than that, don't let your douche friends try to play fricking Blink 182 on it while drunk at a party to try to impress fat, drunk girls.

Works for me. And when I'm restringing my guitars, I remove all 6 or 12 strings and dust the headstock and neck. Keep your guitar in a bag or case and you should be fine.

And avoid extremes in temperature and moisture. However, it was stated that it isn't a high end guitar, so it may not be that big of a worry. However, I wouldn't bring it outside during a rain. Also, bringing it outside during a hot and humid day will cause it to absorb a lot of moisture, which is bad.
