Saw this young guy at Atlanta Botanical Gardens last week opening for the Wood Brothers. Had never heard of him before. I like his stuff. Anyone else like his music?

Really, really cool guy with some legitimately great songs. I was not a fan at first....i just thought the twang was a bit over done. Saw him live and got to chat with him after the show, twang is 100% authentic and he’s a a super nice dude.

His song King of Alabama got some airplay on Outlaw Country and the album it was from (Providence Canyon) got written up in Rolling Stone or somewhere but to me it all seemed pretty flat. I have nothing against him and hope he has a good career but the music just doesn’t do it for me.

I really like his sound. Listen to him alot. He's opeing up for Stapleton in Lafayette in August. I'll be there.
