Im not a bluegrass fan, but went to see peter rowan when he was in baton rouge a year or so ago and he was amazing. His voice is like butter.

Peter Rowan is an American treasure. One of my favorite musicians of all time.

Saw Greensky last night at the tabernacle. Was not impressed. Flat and behind it seemed. They chose to cover Eddie money’s “two tickets in paradise.” I mean what???

I feel ya. I am not that into Greensky either. I have friends that think that they are the bee's knees, and think that its sacrilegious to not be into them. I think that they are okay, but Billy Strings pretty much ruined all other "jam-grass" bands for me.

I've always felt they were bad need of lead a vocalist. Someone who could flesh out their songs and help elevate their stage presence. Wouldn't even have to be a stellar musician to make a huge difference.

I was there too. It was strange choice for a cover. That was my first time seeing them. The people I went with are huge fans, I wasnt that impressed. It was alright
