They were certainly the og’s of stoner/doom. Bands like Sleep, Pallbearer, and Elder would not exist if not for Tony Iommi.

Dirty Women! Tony's favorite BS song and mine also! The buildup in the middle of the song is epic and the return of the songs major riff is just incredible!!! His best guitar work by far in BS. Saw them perform it in all four shows I have seen. Give it a listen. Hey all the other songs are well deserving I'm a major BS fan. Got to meet them at a concert VIP get together and told Tony that the Dirty Women guitar riff is the greatest of all time and he had a really big smile!!!

Great song. Technical Ecstasy was hit or miss. It had a few songs I really liked. Dirty Women and Rock and Roll Doctor are. pretty solid songs.

Never Say Die Tour '78

Great version of War Pigs in this video..song begins at about the 5:30 mark.

I have and old school setup in the basement with a bar and pool table. I was at goodwill and there was a very heavy subwoofer for 25 bucks. Got it hooked up and to my surprise it worked and well.

The first test album...Sabbath Bloody Sabbath.

I have three favorites:

Hole In The Sky
Johnny Blade
Neon Knights

But, really, I haven't heard any yet that suck, and likely never will.

He was in the right place, at the right time, with the right instrument of warfare.

Black Sabbath is somehow underrated. I don't listen to them enough.
