I haven't listened to the whole thing yet, but so far Red Daisy and Hellbender are standouts for me. I've noticed on a few setlists that hes been playing Hellbender live some.

If this cat isn’t the best thing that has happened to the guitar and Americana in 20 years I don’t know what he is. I am constantly blown away by what he plays and how he plays it. He has an uncanny ability to make a song his own while respecting the original.
I think Jerry Garcia would be proud to see him play his songs.
I can’t wait to see him Dec 1 at the Civic in Nola. Easily my favorite artist I’ve found I. The last 3 years. His cover of Thunder is one of the best songs I’ve ever heard. Robert Hunter might as well have written it for him.

Completely with you. If there is a modern day Garcia, it’s Billy Strings. Going to see him in Asheville and couldn’t be more pumped.

Asheville run is going to be nuts, I think this one is top to bottom his best work so far.

as much as i love billy strings ( he blew my mind in mobile) , my firt love of pedal bluegrass is greensky bluegrass. i was at the 3 niht run at red rocks recently and they are something special when they hit the pedels just like billy.

Tried to tell everyone I know he was gonna be the next big thing 5 years ago. I’ve seen him 10 or so times and every single time he brings it. Got all 4 days of Atlanta shows in December. Kid is the absolute truth. Never seen someone that can do what he does on the guitar

I just saw him live last night. WOW! 2-3 hrs with no opening band. He is so talented and probably the savior of bluegrass. Dude can play straight up bluegrass just as good as the originals and perfectly slide into a 15 minute spaced out jazz session.

Got a trip planned to Ventura in april we are going to catch one of the Santa Barbara shows then come home and drive to Houston and Austin shows. Then jazz fest and possibly red rocks
