Yep, it's really a great double album that only Billy could do. Can't wait to see a few of these live.

I watched live Saturday night on Nugs and that was still a great show with all the guests and everybody covering for him.

Molly Tuttle is a superstar, I was not disappointed to see her leading the band Saturday (once we knew Billy wasn’t coming back). Friday was kind of a drag because we were disappointed but we still had a blast.

and yesterday billy announced they were refunding all the tickets even though we saw

Jerry Douglas
Molly Tuttle
Billy’s band
Larry Keen
joe stickley
Mountain grass unit
etc

next show I’ll see is Huntsville in a few weeks

I’ve spent a lot of time with this album, it keeps getting better and more interesting. The first 5 songs are instant classic billy songs.

Leaning on a Travelin' Song
In the Clear
Escanaba
Gild the Lily
Seven Weeks In County

I’ve seen all but leanin’ and gild the lily live, all fantastic. His best songs make you feel like you’ve known them for years.

listen if you haven’t

hoping to see that one in Memphis or NOLA. At Huntsville he played almost every everything else I hadn’t seen yet.

the new songs were all standout highlights which is pretty outrageous considering. It’s good to be billy right now, top of his game.

Last Friday was probably the best concert I have ever been to.
I am 59, seen a ton of the great bands live from back in the late 70's-onward and that was an absolute knockout of a show.
I only regret that I was not there for Saturday night.

Yes, Billy seems to have that effect on people after they see him the first time. I wasnt that familiar with him, nor was I a bluegrass fan the first time I saw him.

I went to see him because I could tell he was a very special guitar player but only knew knew of only a few songs off a Spotify playlist and what I read on this board.

I left that concert and pretty much said what you said. That was 3 years ago and I be there for 3 nights in NOLA

Billy played the whole new album in sequence in the first set last night along with Sierra Hull, Duane Trucks, Jerry Douglas, Nat Smith and Cris Jacobs

it’s up on nugs, a must watch.
2nd set is great too
