This comment is a joke haha. Dave could absolutely sing. Sammy may have had a wider actual range but daves vocal style and attitude made van halan to alot of people

Dreams is a great song. I don't care who you are. Dave was more of a vocal stylist, but he could sing when he wanted to. Sammy is a better musician - composition, he can play a little guitar, and is a straight up better singer than Dave from a musical standpoint.
Dave is a double-edged sword as a frontman. When he's on, he's great. When he's off, he's a big detriment. Sammy is a working class musician "front man" in the mold of Bob Seger.
