Yes, it moved from the stadium to the basement of Hodges about 1987. At the same time we got a new faculty adviser who cracked down on a lot of the craziness that used to go on and tried to make the station more professional.

Makes sense. We would enter from behind the dorm next to the school. May not have been as great as before, but I really enjoyed the stations programming for several years after I left the school.

Honestly I didn’t listen to it all. I listened to the first few bars and realized they were new to me.

After your question I went back and watched the whole thing. Not really my thing. I’m not opposed to music that makes me think or question my beliefs but that was pretty bad.

I loved The Misfits.

Misfits album was the first one I ever stole and had for myself.

Filler - Live

I Don’t Wanna Hear It

This is what I think of when I think punk - Minor Threat

And the Ramones and Sex Pistols

Also this

You think that was good? I give a lot of leeway when it comes to music, but that did not hit a chord for me.

The Barracudas - "I Can't Pretend"

Like that. I was talking with my brother who is a few years older than me and he adores surf music. I asked if it ever crossed the pond. Now I know.

Love all those. Exactly what I was looking for. Bands I never heard of, but played awesome music.

Minor Threat is from DC. Awesome couple of eps and albums. They were totally do it yourself punk maying their own tshirts etc. also we’re straight-edge - no smoking drinking or drugs.

After they broke up Ian MacKaye the singer went on to form the band Fugazi.

Bad Religion’s Suffer is easily the best punk album of the 80’s. By a mile.

While I don’t disagree with you wholeheartedly. Stiff Little Fingers would like a word with you.
