It should be noted in this thread that a lot of the so-called "One Hit Wonders" listed in this thread are HUGELY successful in the music industry in another genre (Herbie Hancock, Bobby McFerrin, Paul Hardcastle), or behind the scenes of pop/rock music (Thomas Dolby, Babyface).
