I want to go but NO SOUTH LOUISIANA dates.

And Houston is the closest and I will be working.

If I still went to concerts this would be one worth considering. Lock of rock and roll history and huge respect for Sammy and Michael.

Know Joe is a great guitarist, e.g., Highway Star, but not as familiar with his body of work.

Bought tickets for Red Rocks months ago. Venue is a bucket list for me and I’ve never seen Hagar or Bonham. Looking forward!

I would really love to go to this show too.

What I would really like to know is WHY 3 out of every 4 major tours ( at least the ones I want to see) skip the state of Louisiana entirely. Even New Orleans. It's like they will be in Atlanta and go straight to Houston or Dallas and vice versa.

Pisses me off.

end rant.

Agreed. When I was in high school (1986-1990), most of the major tours played either the PMac or the Centroplex in Baton Rouge.

I've heard the rumors and theories about how the outdated venues are are a turn-off for tour managers and how the tax structures in EBR rob the bands of too much income, but...

I know this: It would be really nice to not have to make a 6-hour drive to see a band I like.
