Allison Krause is incredible. Saw her live in Baton Rouge years ago and she sounded just as good if not better live in person. No auto-tune needed there!

Yeah, Benatar's training gave her not only great range, but an incredibly strong voice.

I agree with a lot of the people named so far. Dolores O'Riordan is one of my favorites, along with Carly Simon, Annie Lennox, Eva Cassidy amd so many more.

One who is underrated and not mentioned yet is KD Lang.

I'm a big fan of a ton of female rock vocalists.

Jackie De Shannon may be my favorite if I had to name one but there's so many.
