Yeah, probably. I can only speak for my own, however. I feel that my generation will be known for graduating with meaningless degrees, uninspired careers, developing enormous college debt, and riding out stints of unemployment. This song kinda says, frick it.

Another album that is up there for me is The Men - Open Your Heart. Overall it's probably not better than Alabama Shakes, Cloud Nothings, or Spiritualized but it is pretty fricking good.

No, the theme was to steer the uninformed to good music. From there, they could form their own opinions.

Dr John - Locked Down.

Album is funky and badass. Produced by Dan of the Black Keys. It is really a Mac Rubenack CD, not a Dr. John. Mac really tells some stories with this one.
