OP did a great job summing it up.
There may (may!) be records equally as great as Abbey Road but none greater. I find it more than any other Beatles album ages like a fine wine. The only weak link is "Maxwell's Silver Hammer" imo.
Does "Octopus's Garden" count as a guilty pleasure? I rank it as legit, one of Ringo's best moments and George's tone is seriously incredible.
There will never be another band that even approaches these scousers.
