Many of us cried during Mama, I'm Coming Home.

Seen numerous videos of people crying in the crowd. Zakk pulled his acoustic over to the microphone to help sing along. Very powerful performance.

It was hard to not read it as a true song of farewell.

It's amazing how great Ozzy's solo career has been. There are at least 5 albums that are almost all gold. And plenty of good stuff on the rest.

Another thing that was awesome is the usual thing of how much better Euro crowds are than American.

e.g. On the outro to War Pigs when Tony plays the one repeating motif, the crowd immediately turned it into full-throated soccer-style sing along. No words - just the melody. Chills.

It passed the time and was worth saying I did. I never did get the hype though. Outside of the 4-5 actually decent hits, most of the rest really just sounds the same to me. They somehow manage to sound neither major nor minor - just blah. They didn't play Thunderstruck or Money Talks.

This came through my X feed and I figured you could relate.

Wondering when the official replay or band sets will be released/posted. Sunday I saw YT rips of the actual stream (Tool was amazing). I wonder if Sharon is shopping it to streaming services? The vids I’ve seen recently on YT do zero justice to the broadcast version/og stream.

I always put it like this: in 1985, AC/DC released their umpteenth mindless track, Sink the Pink. Meanwhile, across the globe, 4 22 year olds were working on creating Master of Puppets. It's crazy to me that anyone cared about AC/DC after that.

The only song I liked off that record was Shake Your Foundations. AC/DC back then was background party music, which we did a lot of, but not to Fly on the Wall. MoP was something different entirely.
