But yes....it's amazing. A lot of their traditional sound but with some new flavors. I hear what seems like a good bit of classic rock inspiration: "No. 1 Party Anthem" by Elton John, "Arabella" by Black Sabbath ("War Pigs"), "I Wanna Be Yours" by Pink Floyd ("Time"). Then "Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High" is pretty R&Bish and "Fireside" is even a bit Latin-y.
Yeah, not the most professional analysis, but it's still all damn good. Alex Turner is a genius and I can't wait to see him and the guys in less than 19 days.

Love the new album, but I like all theirs. Lots of Falsettos all over the record. Do kind of miss the old Indie, brit rock of the 1st 2 records. Listening to them or watching them now is like a complete different group than 2006, still great however. Knee Socks & One For the Road are my favorite tunes right now.

Yeah, they definitely peaked with those. Thankfully their setlists are still full of songs from those albums.
