Apple Logic Pro vs Ableton Live

I used Ableton up until I got my MacBook Air and tried out Logic Pro 9.
I like everything in Logic better except automation of midi parameters. Ableton handles this better, in Logic, it seems to be clumsy setting waypoints to automate things on the tracks.
What do you producers/musicians prefer?

I get a much fuller sound in Logic with simply bouncing the tracks down to AIFF or WAV rather than using Ableton, I get a very watered down/muddy sound comparing it to Logic (and before purchasing logic I was very happy with the final product of my Ableton tracks).
Is there a way to create track in Ableton and them send them to Logic for mastering/boucning down to get the amazing sound quality that Logic provides?

thanks for responding at all though, these are 2 Digital Audio Workstations (industry standards as well that famous producers/musicians use)

I'm just now starting to use Ableton, but I have been too busy since installing to really get my feet wet.
