Anyone think RUSH will tour again?

As a huge rush fan Im hoping in a few years they might decide to do it again. I realize they have some health issues. Im wondering if no more touring means no more shows or just limited shows. I find it hard to believe they will never play live anywhere ever again. Thoughts?

They ALL appear to be music snobs. Meaning they are above it all. Maybe Geddy is not, but Neil and Alex appear to be strange as hell. Alex's HOF speech "blah blah".
I'm saying no.

They've said its possible they could do a random show here and there. In other words, if some festival offered them a ton of cash they might think about it.

That is probably correct...they are tired and getting older and Geddy even said that it takes them a good bit longer to recover physically after every show.

No. Neil is tired and ready to retire. Unlike others, RUSH will retire as the same unit. This is not Foreigner.

never say never -
Never though Traffic would tour again - and then they did - money (and time) is pretty powerful.

Neil Peart is so overrated. Fight me.

I knew I might get some shite.
Think John Paul Jones. He genuinely seems to be "over it". Something I can't wrap my head around. How do you get over being awesome.
Peart seems to think, "yeah, I am a rock god. Can we talk about Buddy Rich?"
Pearts always been odd. Not even a knock on the guy. Just strange guy. Saw a documentary on them a couple years back. His wife apparently died a few years back. He went off on a motorcycle ride. All the way down South America? I'm not knocking him. Losing a wife like that must be devastating and would all go off the deep end. He even did that in a strange way.
They are rock royalty with a huge body of work, and they seem to be content with it. I might get sick of playing Tom Sawyer too.

His daughter was killed in a car wreck, and his wife died of cancer in the same year, he earned the right to be a little off balance, but he did re-marry and have another child some years later. I always found it interesting that being the drummer he was the one that wrote the lyrics to almost all of the Rush songs.

A friend of my brother's knows them pretty well. When they played where he lives they would all go out golfing before the concert. He says nobody ever realizes who they are and they are as down to earth as they could be. The golfing thing struck me as pretty funny really.
