I'm trying to find a comparison between the mini martin and the taylor gs mini as far as size, sound, and play-ability.

i like the size of the gs mini and the play-ability but for some reason, the sound is a bit to high for me. i've been using a martin d-41 here lately and i absolutely love it. however its not mine and it's a $4k guitar. i can't afford that just yet.

i was just wondering if anyone has played both and their comments on it.

eta: apparently, the d-41 is $5299

I've got me a Martin guitar. I carry it in an old tote sack. I've hocked about 200 times but I've always got it back

I have a "little martin" I bought for my son to learn on and as a travel guitar. Its fun to play and sounds pretty good to me.

The gs mini is the best bang for the buck guitar you can get. I've played martin's that are comparable in size, and there is no comparison. The mini plays and sounds better than the ones i've played.
