George Porter Jr. Announces 75th Birthday Celebration at The Fillmore
The Meters co-founder will be joined by the Preservation Hall Jazz Band, who are set to open the night before Porter, and his band takes the stage alongside PBS, Oteil Burbridge, Cyril Neville, Ivan Neville, Anderson Osborne, Steve Kimock, Tony Hall, and Ian Neville.The star-studded night will also feature special guests Johnny Vidacovich, Susan Cowsill, John Gros, Papa Mali, Keiko Komaki, Erica Falls, Mark Mullins, June Yamagishi, Mia Borders, and Leslie Smith.

Super fun show.
Its crazy to me that the group out there that had the least amount of chemistry was the mini meters set.
Kimock and Oteil were so frickin good, but i thought dark star was an odd song choice for the time and place.
