Anybody hit Chelsea’s Live for opening night last night?

Curious to hear how it was, looks like they had a great turn out from the Fb pics. Was planning on going to The Black Angels show Tuesday but it got cancelled

I was there, had a blast, but felt VERY old. Partying with a bunch of 22 year-olds will do that 
The Iceman Special wasn't really my style, but I enjoyed Quarks (they have the best drummer in BR imo) and Loudness War.
I'll likely be there for the Ria Rosa show on the 21st.
On the fence about going to the Warmadillos Show tonight at Brickyard.

Next one I’ll be off for is Mock Orange. No idea who they are but craving some live music so may check them out

2 bars, good size, nice stage. It’s wider than the Varsity and about as deep but all one level and no second floor. Sound quality was impeccable. This one’s a keeper.

There’s actually a fair amount of parking beside and behind the venue on their property. I parked under the interstate closer to brickyard simply because I didn’t realize all of that other parking was there.

it's now the best live venue in baton rouge by far. they did everything right in setting up the venue. it'll be a huge draw for mid level bands touring on a national scale.
