Any of you heard of Ben Rector?

I had a couple of friends turn me on to him and I can't stop listening. I guess I would describe him has Poppish Folk Rock. It's not anything cutting edge but it's perfect to fire up on a Saturday morning as your family eats a late breakfast. Broad-base appeal and mostly light hearted. His songs are mostly from the perspective of a middle aged man with small skids. You should check him out.

True story, he used to cheat off me in math back in middle school. He was mad when he got a ‘D’ on the assignment. I told him I was a dumbass and not to do it. He transferred to metro from union shortly after. He was always a talent growing up!
