I can't build shite, but a guy I jam with builds electric guitars. I wish I had the skill.

Have you ever seen the movie "It Might Get Loud In Here" with Jimmy Paige, the Edge and Jack White? If so, you'll recall the guitar Jack built at the start of the movie. Way cool.

i've heard the neck is a bitch to make and a buncha the stuff I've seen recommends you just buy it premade, but if you're going all natural, i wish you the best of luck

the steel guitar looks pretty simple, and i'll probably just build it out of whatever guitar i can get for free lap steel ETA: this one looks cooler than the pool stick case

the banjo hopefully will sound more like a banjo than a ukelele, but i guess nothings wrong with sounding unique banjo uke and i'll probably throw a piezo buzzer in there to electrify it

Yeah I'm going for it.

Been designing my neck for about a month and a half now lol. The measurements are all custom...I'm not working off of a spec sheet. I already have enough maple to do about 20 necks...maybe I'll get a few usable ones by the time I'm done.

My next task is to get my neck carving jig in shape. As soon as I get the neck design how I want it then I can do that.
