Any fans of Superjoint Ritual?

Or just Superjoint now?
I know Anselmo and Joe Fazzio had beef and that is why they only put out 2 albums in 12 plus years.
I caught their live show once and it also had Hank Williams III playing a mean and angry bass...and Jimmy Bower was always on point. Their show in Dallas (forget name of venue but I had seen a rave in there before) was insane. Unreal pits and Phil was just insanely intense. Very loud and when they played "Personal Insult" I thought the place was gonna fall. Lots of booze and coke in there that night.
Did any of you like them as much as Phil's other side projects? I mean...DoWn and Pantera were just different but tough to beat by anyone. But I dunno...revisiting their catalog makes me really appreciate what they were trying to do. They were, like it or not, heavier than Pantera...just not as groove-oriented.

Down was supposed to do a tour this year. Thanks COVID

I think most of Phil’s problems with anyone for the last 30 years have been mostly due to heroin And extreme alcohol abuse. Dude has made some awesome music but is a perpetual train wreck. It’s hard to believe he’s lived as long as he has.

Use Once and Destroy is one of my favorite albums. I was lucky enough to see them live a few times.

Truthfully, uscpuke, you are correct; this belongs in the Music Board. But I'm a huge fan of Phil Anselmo's work so I'm not RA'ing.
If we did move this, I say move it to Politics Board. Give those pricks a taste of their medicine.

In Deep Ellum?

Damn I thought I posted this in Music Board. I will RA.
It was at Trees or Tree Oak or something. It was not Bronco Bowl or the usual. But it WAS in Deep Ellum.

Woodreaux thanks. I did not mean this to be OT. And if Poliboard heard this, they would call me a libertard even though I am very much right but love metal.

Saw them in Houston on their very first tour back in '95! After that, became a Pantera fan as well!
