4 of the 10 songs have been on Spotify for month or so now.

I havent listened to the album yet but of the 4... i dug 3 out of the 4:
The world is on fire
one day at a time - Thought this showed BJ's talent with words
crooked + straight

tough folks was my least favorite

I listened to it all the way through twice already. I love it.

Second half of the record is pure honkytonk music, and I love it.

I could do without “The World’s On Fire.”

“Shadows of You” scratches me right where I itch.

Just listened through for the first time.

I’m not wild about it so far, but definitely agree with the guy above that the backhalf is stronger.

I’m not feel the same AQ sound that I love from the older stuff. With that said I’m going to listen again tomorrow and hope it grows on me.

It’s really good. I love the pedal steel.

It’s grown on me after a couple of listens.

I wasn’t wild about the stuff the couple of times they played it at the few concerts i’ve Been to the last several months.

I credit it to them buying a legit tour bus.

Love the piano, organ, squeezebox from John Fullbright on the record, as well as the new pedal steel player's sound.
Also agree with y'all about the 2nd half.

This is their best album since Small Town Hymns. It’s great

It's ok. I just feel like the lyrics are really cliché and boring. The playing is solid though.

Why not listen to a little and decide for yourself. I mean, do you really trust wilceaux that much?
