I'm more of a metal and sludge metal fan. But the opening of this song is Epic to me. Of all the new rock / hard rock music, they are at the top I think! So much talent in the whole group!

It is pretty damn good (the opening) and I’m not even a fan of the band.

Alter Bridge is one of the best around currently - the musicianship, vocals, songwriting...
Wasn't a big fan of their most recent album (the one with Show Me a Leader), but everything else has been amazing from day one. Check out Tremonti.

New album will be out this fall. I wasn't a big fan of The Last Hero but there were a few awesome tracks on it.
