And a bust out of Dinner and a Movie--last time was a show I attended--the rain delayed Northerly Island show 4 years ago!

Scents and Subtle Sounds---a nice tune...they should play it more often. Only done 10 times in 3.0.
Another great show...

Calling a Boston - more than a feeling cover tonight

Foreplay/Longtime would also satisfy the major bust-out song (553 show gap).

frick Brad Serling and frick nugs.net
This show has dropped out 6 times already and I went for 20 minutes with a frozen picture...this has been happening the last 11 shows.
It's getting old, especially at $25 a show.

Jon made the joke that tonights flavor was going to be Kansas Metallica after last night's Boston Cream and said he had been waiting twenty years to tell that joke
I didn't listen last night even tho it was on mf JamOn and I heard it was awesome. I still can't get Walk Away out of my head from the other night...

8.5.17 - Ghost, Sunshine of Your Love>More Than A Feeling>Sunshine of Your Love>Foreplay/Long Time, Gotta Jibbo
Great time to be a fan. 7.28-30 was the best weekend run I've seen them play. Having a different theme every night in addition to the overall theme of no repeats has led to satisfying setlist construction, avoiding common 3.0 grievances (ripcords, mariamba lumina, whale call, relying too much on echoplex, etc), and most importantly - unpredictability. Sure- some of the covers have been pretty obvious calls (Cinnamon Girl) but others were out of nowhere (Everything In Its Right Place). The same could be said about jams- obviously Lawn Boy is the key example of this but others like Steep, It's Ice, 1999, Taste, ASIHTOS... who saw these being used as vehicles?
Lots of chatter about their touring approach changing after the success of Baker's Dozen and I'm for it. The band clearly thrives off the residency model.
