Red Rocks turns 75 next week and Denver Post put together a list of 75 fun facts about the venue. My first show this season will be tomorrow night to take a date to see the Lumineers, with more shows already paid for coming up this season. Enjoy the interesting venue tidbits....

Awesome! Thanks for posting.
I think I saw 2 of those Warren Haynes performances that year.
One of my favorite memories from Red Rocks. Neville Brothers and John Butler Trio opened.

Widespread Panic holds the title for most shows at Red Rocks. The band will play its 49th, 50th and 51st shows there this year.

It took the natural amphitheater of Red Rocks more than 200 million years to form.
This is awesome. Lucky enough to have seen a show there back in 12. I will definitely go back when I have the chance.
Also pretty neat Wide Spread has had the most shows there. I'm not a big fan of their music, but have been to plenty of their shows and it's always fun.

I love the RR. Pre-marriage/kids I was going annually to see shows there. Now it's once every 3-4 yrs
It's the greatest place on earth
