70's pop star Helen Reddy dead at 78

Saw her perform in a hotel bar in London, New Years eve 1998 I think. She had given a concert at the hotel that night, and afterwards came in to the piano bar san sang some songs. It was neat to see. She was pretty fat even back then, so I imagine she wasn't in good health.
