Can we get some love in here for this label?

Ivo redefined "art house music"in the early 80s and without the pixies "smells like teen spirit" wouldn't exist.

Nothing has ever affected me like the first time I heard the cocteau twins.

This mortal coil trilogy was the soundtrack of my trips home from LSU through the desolation of southern Mississippi for years.

Pump up the volume was the Apex of what colourbox was trying to do for years and was the clear intellectual Daddy for all the DJ stuff that has followed ever since.

Here's to the most influential label of the 80s.

A lot if bands I listened to back then were on 4AD. Just saw Daniel Ash and Kevin Haskins doing mostly Tones on Tail songs.
