$375.00 to see U2 and 50+ year old chili peppers. No thanks.

this lineup is not appealing as a whole.

so basically if you are 30 and older, big time festivals will no longer be geared towards you.

every festival in 2017 has the same lineup

I wouldn't say that. Voodoo was great this past year; I've been to Bonaroo twice and loved every bit of it, but the lineups were much better. This year seems odd because it's a huge disparity between acts--if you're an older fan of U2, I doubt there's a whole lot more this year that gets you excited, and if you're a 21 year old concert goer, two of the three main headliners are well into their 50s and 60s, and their best albums were released before you were born.
**this was right at the beginning of Kanye becoming an insufferable prick--his show was one of the more anticipated of the weekend and it was a colossal failure.

All the major ones for sure. But the smaller more thought out ones like Floyd Fest, Hogs here and Newport are refreshing

I get free tickets and I'm even contemplating ways I could use them to go to other festivals.

Oh man, that 2011 Roo was my favorite. '12 and '13 were also solid. '14 and '15 were lackluster but I feel like this year's is truly underwhelming.

I literally laughed out loud. Holy crap that is hot garbage.

Id go just for Randy Marsh

Lol at Marshmello being that high. This lineup isn't very good outside of maybe U2 and RHCP.

You guys crack me up, lots of good music on here. Sorry they're appealing to the younger generation! I do agree Marshmello sucks though.

There is some good music there.
U2 - worth it alone
The XX
Future Islands
Cold War Kid
Royal Blood
Margo Price
Preservation Hall Jazz Band

camping out in hot Tennessee summer to see less than 10 bands sounds like a blast

The XX are so wildly boring.
I went through trying to make a playlist of all the groups i didn't know and only ended up adding like 3 because the rest were all edm/pop-y electronic.
