Recently bought a new Samsung and picture quality on youtube TV is absolute trash, like not even HD quality.

When I throw my amazon fire on there, its fine but with straight up samsung smart TV using the youtube app its terrible.

It got better after I lost my debit card and didn't update, they shut youtube off for a day, turned on and was good, now its shitty again.

Anyone else had this issue? Guess ill just keep rolling with the fire but odd for it to be fine on one and not the other.

Sounds like a Samsung issue. Works beautifully on my Apple TV.

Nope. YTTV works fine on all 4 of my TV's, all different brands. None are Samsungs though.

It does struggle on my iPad for some reason.

Can you update the app on the TV? I use 4k firestick, no issues, great picture. Have never found apps on any TV to be as HQ as external devices.

Not sure it works excellent on my other Samsung which is odd.

Like I said, I lost my debit car, so my service cancelled for like a day until I updated it. When I did that, picture came back GREAT, like I was used to on the smaller samsung.

Now its just shite again. But threw the 4k firestick on and its fine so whatever I guess. Firestick is easier/smoother to navigate anyway.
