I've researched a little bit, and it appears for live streaming, youtube TV has some of the better channels, most specifically for sports.
Any other recs? Or advice. TIA

Youtube tv has pretty much all sports except Pac12 network and NHL network.

We subscribed to YoutubeTV last week. The channel lineup is absolutely perfect for us, but the UI kind of sucks, but live guide and the DVR functionality. Has just about all the sports channels you could want other than Redzone.

For but a $135 per month savings over DirectTV, I can learn to manage it.

I like FuboTV too, got a referral deal and a savings with my credit card and switched over from YTTV based on price. I'd say they're about equal. Have all sports except TNT (NBA playoffs), which I do think YTTV has.

I switched earlier this year and love it, like you said the UI isn't great but with the savings I can easily live with it. Also, they have an extra sports package for $11 with Redzone if you want it.

Switched from Dish to YoutubeTV a month or so ago and my only complaint is that I didn't do it sooner.

Youtube tv the best content but for $65 well, there's a reason I cut the cable tv cord. I go with Sling Orange to get the ESPNs at $30 for 4-5 months each year. Now Youtube allows for three simultaneous streams on different devices, so it's a bargain if you can find at least one person to share price....Sling is for one device only.

I've had YouTube TV for a while now.

No complaints.

Interface is easy to use and looks clean.

They have all of your local channels, your ESPN's, FOX sports' channels, etc...

They now have a "sports package" for $11.99/mo.

It includes a few channels I'll probably never use, except NFL RedZone.
