I generally really enjoy this show. I grew up around horses and in roping circles. The way they depict all the cowhands standing around admiring all the cutters/reiners is pretty cringy.
It kind of reminds me of the jam session scenes of a skate park in a Lifetime special or something (Woah, look at him shred that board. he's rad!). Just hopelessly cheesy and off base in how it tries to capture that subculture. But it's also entertaining, so whatever.

Yall do realize that Sheridan is the head writer, producer, etc., etc. He can write himself how he wants. His production company Baroque Ranch is all over the show as well. The reason cutting/reigning is featured is because he wants it featured. I believe they are trying to set up another show about the Ranch in Texas.

This is what I understand add where Jimmy will ultimately end up and get redemption and grow. He's going to end up becoming a rider and realize his talent wasn't just rodeo bucking.

Taylor Sheridan self sucking on a horse with his spotlight on new courtry music shite can stop now. We literally played Shane Smith two episodes in a row and announced "play some Shane Smith"... "Shane Smith and the Saints" while Taylor is a badass to Jimmy in a tight shirt.
