Less responsibility than an anonymous poster on a message board?

Fans love franchises. Critics love some franchises. If a movie comes from a franchise the critics love, and the movie isn't absolutely terrible, they seem to do well, if you look at the % of critics who like them. This is where RT meter is flawed. The recent Muppets movie is a case in point. Nearly every critic liked the movie, but not one critic would say it was good or great. Yet it has a 90+% on RT.

Winnie the Pooh is similar. Except it was absolutely terrible. Absolutely the worst movie of the year. Worse than Smurfs. Worse than Jack Black's abomination against Gulliver. I cannot imagine how anyone could sit through that 61 minute feature and not fall asleep. For heaven's sake, kids who were wearing Winnie the Pooh shirts next to me were falling asleep after fifteen minutes.

Like I said, if you doubt me, go see the movie for yourself. And yes, I take my responsibility to review movies honestly, with integrity, and with thought far more seriously than the shills writing for newspapers and websites.

I can't believe in four pages no one has mentioned any of the Star Wars prequels. They all qualify, and would rank 1,2,and 3 if you counted wasted potential as a major criteria.

While they are terrible and fricked up alot of things, they are just slightly bad on their own terms, but suck compared to the original source. At least some of it looked cool.

Well, considering that everyone on the entire site disagrees with you, I'm going to stick to the T-Meter.

A poster, when he saw that I gave it a 0/10 on the TulaneLSU Movie Reviews Thread, thought I was crazy for giving it that rating. He used the same argument: RT meter. I challenged him to see it. He saw it. He agreed with me.

You sound like those Flat Earth Society people who cite a single pilot as having proof the Earth is flat, despite everyone else on the entire planet having evidence that you are wrong.

Oh, so you're saying your opinion is better and you work harder at reviewing films than say Roger Ebert, Peter Travers, or Richard Roeper, despite the fact they do this as a full time career instead of on the side. If you are curious on why everyone thinks you are a pompous egotistical douche, read that post again.

the original transformers animated movie in the 80s where if I remember correctly Prime dies. I was like 7 and was bored out of my mind. I actually asked my dad to leave which he happily agreed to.

3/4 of almost all of your reviews don't have shite to do with the film you just watched, just spouting your bible thumping bullshite at anyone who would listen to it. I'd say that Armond White is a better film critic than you.

It's just hard to think of a movie worse than Spiderman 3 or The Happening

I was going to say Batman & Robin, but in terms of huge build up and what not it has to be Spiderman 3. First two were great films and then the third one came out. I have never tried hanging myself with my own belt, but the night I was at the cinema watching Spiderman 3 I was awfully close.
