I just saw this, and it's an absolutely sensational documentary. I was all up in my feelings by the end of it. Anybody else see it yet?

Saw it last week at my local Alamo...was extremely well done...and hits your right in the feels.

I don't think it is yet. It's still expanding to more theaters right now.

Just saw it tonight. It was excellent. There was a part near the end that I almost missed because I got something in my eye. I was somewhat reluctant about going, but my wife really wanted to see it. I am glad I did. I highly recommend it.

Damn. Looks like I'll have to watch this one at home. Alone.

I hate these types of documentaries. Feel so stupid tearing up...
I really want to see this one though.

This was great! It is awesome that Mr. Rogers was able to own that Senator without even acting like he was trying.

I saw it last Friday. It was excellent.
He literally disarmed that Senator with kindness. I know that story well and I’ve seen clips of the hearings. But it was still awesome.

Saw it today. Incredible documentary. Brought back so many feelings and memories I'd forgotten that I'd forgotten.

For anyone interested in a personal look at Fred Rogers' life, Tom Junod wrote a profile of him for Esquire back in 1998.
Can You Say...Hero?
It is an intensely moving and emotional piece of writing, one of the best profiles I've ever read, and I recommend it to everyone.

I wasn't expecting the Challenger clips. Still can't watch that footage.
I need to know who these heathen fricksticks were who protested outside of Fred Rogers' memorial service with signs that said "Mr. Rogers is in Hell". I need names.
I will find every last one of these miserable fricks and I will fight them today.

I just got home from seeing it. What a brilliant tribute to a gentle soul.
Fred Rogers was too good and pure for this world. We didn't deserve him.

I am happy to see this movie talked about.
This was a great movie about a truly great man. His kindness is well known but it is genuinely surprising in retrospect how few people recognized the thoughtfulness and impact that he had on American society.
There are some laughs along the way too - the photo of the crew member mooning the camera as king freddy was hideously funny. They did touch on some interesting areas where I thought they might fear to tread - including the Tom Snyder interview about his sexuality.
There were a lot of small remarkable moments from the film, to see how children watched him and absorbed his love was really magical. The discussion about him still carrying a little bit of "fat freddy" with him and that informing his drive and his insecurity was well done. Little moments like his puppet duet about not being good enough were even more meaningful and probably brilliant improvisation in light of what the film makers revealed about Fred Rogers. Little moments like the Eddie Murphy shout out were also fun.
Best movie of the year so far IMO.

Saw it last week. My wife really wanted to see it - she rarely really wants to see any movie, so it seemed like a good idea even though I was 50/50 about it. UNTIL I saw it! Really sweet, really touching, really powerful tribute to a true American icon. That one good, soft spoken and gentle man influenced generations for the better and brought light into dark and empty places.
Came away thinking I’ve got a long way to go before I could even hope to be even a fraction of the man Fred Rogers was. Also that I am grateful for his courage and unswerving faith and vision.

Gosh almighty. Every person and kid in America needs to watch this. What an incredible man.
Theg did a wonderful job with this documentary.
I admit, I geared up a few times.
