Regardless of the reviews, I'll end up watching it - I watched Justice League, and I doubt it'd be worse than THAT.

The only thing "elite" about them is that they think they know more about film than most people. Which is a very basic definition of a critic. Someone having a different political or social opinion from you doesn't make them an elitist.
