That's because music has no place on any board, even OT if you're not counting band shows and such.

World Cup and Oil rig are things people are talking about wherever. The threads are going to pop up, but they will soon die down.

Gaming board is perfectly OTable, just as money talk is. Count the threads each day, count the responses. They are minimal at best.

I have seen a few people say the reason they don't talk about music is because there's no place for it here. I feel the same way. I will never start a music thread (except this one) on the M/TV board, because it doesn't belong here. The people who come to the M/TV board want movies and TV.

I can't get a serious answer in the OT lounge so there's no point, and every other board is just too specific to fit music anywhere in the mix.

Just think about how great it could be. All the possible discussions, reviews. Sharing original work from soundclick. Remixes, contests, etc.

A music board would rock. It's long overdue. Perhaps the 10 people that have posted on the Fantasy Sports Board today will disagree, but I have a feeling that a music board would surpass your expectations.
