Why doesn't anyone here like The Glades?

I tried watching it but I just find the lead guy a douche! I just don't root for him. I just saw the first few episodes so maybe he got better.

New York, NY – August 31, 2010 – A&E capped off the summer with the best August in network history among key demos, including adults 18-49 and 25-54. The network posted incredible growth versus August 2009, witnessing growth of 6% among adults 18-34 (303,000), 4% among adults 18-49 (691,000), 5% among adults 25-54 (729,000) and 6% in total viewers (1.44 million), versus August 2009.

The new hit drama series “The Glades” has propelled A&E to ad-supported cable’s #1 network on Sunday nights among total viewers and helped the network finish August as the number five entertainment network overall among adults 25-54, finishing ahead of top networks including FX, MTV and Discovery.

A&E is also on pace to achieve its best year in network history among all key demos. Year-to-date, the network is up 4% in adults 18-49 and 7% in adults 25-54 and total viewers. This will mark A&E’s seventh consecutive year of growth.
